Design & Construction Management
Our Design and Construction department is a service organization responsible for the engineering, architecture, planning, documentation, construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance of all °®¶¹´«Ã½ buildings and facilities. The department provides and administers utilities, architectural and engineering services, and annual capital programs. Our goal is to provide these services in a manner consistent with the °®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton's standards of excellence.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES (March 2025)
°®¶¹´«Ã½ Hall - Construction is 65%; completion will be in August 2025.
St Thomas Hall HVAC Replacement, Phase 5B (2 New Rooftop Units) - Construction set for June 2025.
GLM Boiler Replacement - Construction completed.
Condron Boiler - Replacement completed.
GLM Interior Painting - Work underway.
WML Chiller - Design work is underway for a new chiller for WML, TDC, Montrone & Pilarz.
Romero Entrance Ramps & Steps - Completed February 2025.
Fitch Hall Flooring Replacement - Construction completed.
WML Waterproofing Phase 4 - Design being finalized.
O'Hara Masonry Restoration - RFP for construction bids - Summer 2025 work.
Gavigan Window Replacement, Ph2 - Final 40 window replacement set for summer 2025.
Additional Parking at Montrone - Work underway.
