The philosophy program at The °®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton has educated a number of students who have gone on to successful careers in academia and elsewhere.  Here are a few examples:

Steven Barbone (°®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton, BS, Human Services and Philosophy 1982; Marquette °®¶¹´«Ã½, PhD, Philosophy 1997) is an associate professor of philosophy at San Diego State °®¶¹´«Ã½.  

Alexander Bertland (°®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton BA Communication, Philosophy and History 1989; Emory °®¶¹´«Ã½ MA Philosophy 1993, PhD Philosophy 1996) is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Niagara °®¶¹´«Ã½ and Department Chair.  

Deborah Campbell (°®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton BA Accounting, Minor in Philosophy, Summa Cum Laude 1986; Binghamton °®¶¹´«Ã½ MA Philosophy 1990; Binghamton °®¶¹´«Ã½ PhD Philosophy 1994) is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Christopher Newport °®¶¹´«Ã½. 

Christina M. Drogalis (°®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton, B.A., 2008, Philosophy and Political Science; Loyola °®¶¹´«Ã½ Chicago, M.A., 2011, Philosophy) is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at Loyola °®¶¹´«Ã½ Chicago.

Timothy J. McGrew (°®¶¹´«Ã½ of Scranton BA Philosophy 1988; Vanderbilt °®¶¹´«Ã½ PhD Philosophy 1992) is a Professor of Philosophy at Western Michigan °®¶¹´«Ã½.  For more, see .
